What cookies are
Cookies and similar technologies (such as the browser's localStorage) are small pieces of data a website saves on your device to remember settings or collect anonymous statistics.

| theme | Remembers the light or dark theme | Until cleared | Functional |
| viewed:* | Prevents counting your view of an article twice within 24 hours | Until cleared | Functional |
| _ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics: anonymous visit statistics. Set only if you click “Accept” | Up to 2 years | Analytics |
Personal data
The site has no registration or user accounts. The contact form only sends the information you enter yourself (name, email, message) so I can reply to you; it is not used for anything else.
Third-party services
Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, the article view counter uses abacus.jasoncameron.dev, and the contact form is delivered via Web3Forms. These services receive your IP address as technically required to deliver content, but this site does not set any advertising cookies through them.
Consent for 24 hours
Your choice (accept or decline) is stored for 24 hours, after which the banner will appear again. Until you accept, Google Analytics is not loaded at all (Google Consent Mode is set to “denied”).
How to manage cookies
You can change your choice at any time with the button below, and delete stored data in your browser settings.
